Northern Indiana Hispanic Health Coalition (NIHHC) is a 20+ year nonprofit dedicated to addressing the critical healthcare information gap for Hispanic communities. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by Spanish-speaking populations across generations in accessing and understanding comprehensive health resources, NIHHC sought to develop a streamlined data system that could effectively bridge information barriers. The organization aims to provide timely, culturally sensitive health insights that empower individuals through improved access to critical physical and mental health information.

  • Digital Transformation of Data Collection using Microsoft Forms

    We thoroughly reviewed NIHHC’s existing paper forms and workflows, looking for opportunities to streamline and consolidate. All forms were fully digitized using Microsoft Forms, with a key focus on creating a user-friendly and dual-language (English and Spanish) data collection platform. This approach not only simplified data collection, but also optimized staff resource allocation and enhanced data accuracy.

    A fully automated data pipeline was implemented to consolidate and transform data from multiple sources - removing repetitive manual tasks and ensuring clean, up-to-date information flows seamlessly into reporting tools.

  • Real-Time Power BI Dashboards

    We designed interactive dashboards that dynamically surface key performance metrics. By replacing time-consuming ad hoc reporting with instantaneous visualizations, NIHHC staff now gain immediate access to accurate and report-ready insights. These dashboards not only streamlined program development but also empowered stakeholders with rich, real-time data with just a few clicks.
